Isabella was born in the beautiful and historic city of Taranto, in the region of Puglia, Italy.   After graduating from the Liceo Scientifico in Taranto, Isabella went on to study Biology at the University of Pisa and English language at the University of Bari.  After this she managed several businesses before returning to her love of language and teaching.

Taranto was an important city in Magna Graecia and has been a cultural, military and strategic center since its founding in 706 B.C.
